Salmon is a fish packed with nutrients, and is particularly a great source of Vitamin D. There are numerous recipe variations for cooking this fish, but sometimes simple is best. This baked salmon recipe uses simple ingredients like butter, spices, and lemon to bring a freshness that accompanies the salmon well.
“Growing up in Maine I learned to become a seafood lover at an early age. I don’t live near the sea anymore but we do have access to some fresh Salmon where I purchase most of our meat. It makes such an easy meal, just bake it with some butter, salt and pepper and pair with your favorite veggie sides. It also makes great leftovers the next day to add to your salad for lunch.
Salmon is really healthy for you and one of the few food sources of Vitamin D that you can consume. Dinner doesn’t get much easier than this. If you have some parchment paper, place some under the fish before baking and it will make clean up a lot faster!”
